Our wallpaper panels are 24" wide (23" + 1" overlap).
WALLPAPER MEASURING GUIDE
Before embarking on the installation and room decoration process, it's crucial to calculate how many panels of wallpaper or decorative wall coverings you will require. Measure the height and width of your walls accurately, taking into account any doors, windows, or other openings. This measurement will help you determine the total wall area to be covered.
Measure the Height of Your Walls
Measure the height of your wall from ceiling to baseboard and choose the size that is greater than or equal to your ceiling height. The remaining will be trimmed during installation.
Determine the Number of Panels You Need
Measure the width of the wall where you plan to install the wallpaper. This width measurement is vital in calculating the required number of panels.
Divide the Width by 24 and Round It Up to the Whole Number
Take the width measurement of your wall and divide it by 24 inches, which is the width of our wallpaper panels.
Example: 127" wide ÷ 24 = 5.29. That would mean you need to order 6 panels
Example Calculation
Another example. Let's say your wall measures 152 inches in width.
152 inches wide ÷ 24-inch panels = 6.33
Rounded up, you would need to order 7 panels for your project.
Important Note
It's highly advisable to order some extra panels. When calculating the quantity, keep in mind the pattern repeat, which is 23 inches both lengthwise and widthwise. Accounting for this pattern repeat ensures you have enough wallpaper for adjustments, corners, and future needs.
